The last I heard of this was, one shooter who shot himself in the melee and one of the other "injured" actually suffered a heart attack. That's a different picture from the one painted as the thing unfolded.
The "news" is spewing "facts" before anything is verified.
Not according to Obama and others. Gun violence has to do with "assault weapons" because that is all that was addressed when he spoke about gun violence. He did not talk about the true issue with gun violence. He did not set out a plan to try to stop gun violence.
It all counts as gun violence unless they used a crossbow to shoot the bullets.
Well this can't count as "gun violence" because this was not done with an AR-15 or anything like that. And if this is gang related then it really can't count as gun violence. Because the real issue behind gun violence will not be addressed by Obama.
They will only stop when everyone turns them off in protest...though that is like saying when pigs fly...
As soon as someone *tells* me to turn something off I get the urge to turn it on. Is that antisocial?
News, like when they were reporting the wrong Lanza killed the folks in Newtown. Great move. They are lucky someone didn't kill him that day.
MSNBC is doing the same thing kind of. Numerous "news sources" calling in and some of it is contradictory.
I agree. I haven't even looked because they are so desperate for ratings they will tell us anything to get us hooked into that hypnotic state watching, watching..Yuck! Really don't like the News stations
I have CNN on and it is just irritating to me. They are taking calls from anyone who feels like calling in. Then quizzing these people on and on whether they were witnesses or not.
I'm just going to say that the way our "news' channels exploit situations bothers me.
I'd rather wait until the true facts come out.
Gang activity being mentioned now. Interesting twist, I feel.
Originally I got confused and thought this was about the one reported this morning, I can't even keep up any longer.
Msnbc has been really consistent...try them out..
No they're saying multiple shooters.... 3 shot, 1 may have been the shooter.
The story has changed 2 times in the 2 minutes Ive been tuned in.
On Msnbc they are saying It seems that 3 or 4 people were arguing and they all pulled out guns and started shooting at each other. I suspect is in custody but they are still searching for one more. So this wasn't the type of shooting where someone came in and randomly started shooting..Texas has a right to conceal and carry law that has been in place for 20+ years..But according to the law guns are NOT allowed on school/college campuses...
The reporter was trying to get the "eye witness" to commit to certain things.
The news at work is stuck on Fox.... this "news caster" is doing a horrible job "leading" an eye witness.... it is pitiful and is a great example of how misinformation gets passed on to the public.
This is happening right now!...
