Were getting ready to discuss major trade talks with all of the EU and have effectively lost their trust. Seems kind of like a big deal to me. We do an awful lot of trade with these allies.....
In other breaking news, it has been reported that the US embassy in Paris was bugged. The french government has stated that this is normal activities for the french government and is allowed to do so under french laws.
Meanwhile, ,the french foreign affairs directorate has expressed extreme outrage that the french embassy in Washington DC was bugged by the NSA, stating, this is a violation of national sovereignty and national principles.
In yet other news, the NSA is reported to be extremely disappointed at the quality of the eaves dropping that has come from 'the french embassy' until someone in the janitorial staff notified that 'the french embassy' is actually a 3 star restaurant in the Parkview district of Washington DC.
Go figure.
