What the world is seeing.....

I wasn't going to post this as the last thing I want to do is to hurt anyone.  However, I thought perhaps it might be interesting to see what the rest of the world is looking at.  This is a documentary being shown on the CBC network (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation).  It highlights what we see right now and that we share your fear....we do love our neighbors to the south.  But it also shows how perplexed we are over the absolute hatred this election seems to be bringing out.  I thought it might be good for you to see it through an outsiders eyes....for this is what we see.  I hope this is taken in the context intended, and please remember, I did not write this documentary.  It is called Anger in America.

Yes. The intensity is palpable here in Oakland and Berkeley. We are definitely heading for interesting times.

I don't watch TV other than a few things I download off the net so I'm spared the ads.
My main media source is either online,  from The Daily show and on the radio.

As I'm watching part 2, I'm realizing that seeing this won't mean much to those of you in the middle of the actual election.  For us to see this, well, it's just crazy.  Really it is.  But for those of you living this, you are probably a bit numb too it now so no big deal.  It highlights the media's behavior and shows a lot of the attack ads.  It's just bigger then life for those of us here.....and seems so out of control.

Last election I was over seas. On the way to the airport I filled in my absentee voters ballot.
At the time, the whole world wanted Obama. It was obvious he could never be the superman everyone wanted him to be.

Anyway, thanks. The view is always different from outside our borders. Heck, the view is different outside my state:)
