Wow, that's crazy. I think home need a thing like the carfax history reports on them. lol. Then people will know exactly what happened with the house prior to them buying it.

Ewwwwwwww!  I hate snakes.  It is amazing the things people will cover up.  We just moved into our new (well, old house, but new to us) house.  When we viewed it and bought it, it was winter time.  Once the snow melted...what a mess the yard was.  I mean like nothing you can imagine.  Full of garbage and broken glass.  The broken glass is apparntly a result of our local SWAT team raiding the house for the illegal weapons being sold out of here.  Great..just great.  What a mess..couldn't even let my little boy play in his own yard the first few weeks.  Who acts like that?  And nothing we could do about it.

Yes that's much more than the usual stories I've heard which is that a landlord failed to disclose that an apartment was infested with bedbugs or the like (given that problem has had a resurgence they are considering a law requiring landlords to disclose this if it happens in at least some states). It goes beyond irresponsibility into the realm of being negligent.
