The first time I received this email, I liked it and forwarded it on.
When it showed up a few months later, the little brain kicked in and I googled it.
Then it showed up again, just a few weeks ago.
Like mushrooms, it just keeps popping up.
Hoax or not, I like the idea. Some how, some way, we have to do something to reel these folks in. I have a hard time looking into the eyes of any of these people and not seeing a hollow head. They are often one tracked and the majority of us are not on that track.
Politics is a crap shoot these days. We really do not know what we are going to get and we understand less about what and who we are paying for.
Somebody a while back on this board made mention of "voting for the person who is likely to do the least damage". I understand that thinking but cannot believe it has come to this and I guess that is what I was doing starting with voting for Clinton. Quayle??? No thanks, I'll throw Clinton a vote and clinch my teeth.
Thank you OH. I'm not surprised as many of the things that particular family member forwards to me are on about the same level. I should have checked it myself first.
Still, despite the factual inaccuracies pointed out by your link, I think this speaks to the growing frusration among people and the perception that America is shifting more and more to a 'ruling class' who manipulate the fears and prejudices of the many to stay in power, and a 'consuming class' satisfied to vote themselves 'bread and circuses'.
Hope you're doing well. Take care.
Figures! The first thing I have read in a while that I agree with and its a freaking hoax! grrr
Kind of looks like a good idea though, don't you think?
This is a hoax.
