Abscess Tooth Swelling

I have an abscess and I am being treated with antibiotic. The swelling didn't start till after I started the antibiotic. Why is that?

It takes time for the antibiotic to start working on the infection and the swelling was beginning as you started the medication.  Just continue taking the medicine and it will get better.  Take care.
