Extreme pain in the back of my mouth

Several days ago I started having a bit of pain in the back right side of my mouth. The pain has gotten worse and when I went to put an oral anashetic on the cotton swab came back out with blood on it.  I'm hungry but don't want to eat because it hurts so bad and I'm having trouble speaking because my tongue hurts as well now. My throat is slightly sore and it is slightly painful to swallow. I don't feel any swollen lymph nodes. I took a picture but I'm not sure what is normal.
