Help Me :c

I got a filling on Friday on a tooth on my right side that had a bad cavity. It is now Wednesday and my cheek is still swollen I cant eat at all, literally I can't it hurts to chew if I try to it hurts horribly! Ive taken pills and pills nothing works I am getting very depressed about it. I've told my mom, but she is very stubborn and doesn't want to take me back to the dentist. What do I do do I need a root canel? Do I need it to be pulled out? Do I have an infection I need help asap :'c

It is very likely that the dentist got too close to the root when he did the filling.  If this is the case, it can hurt for a very long time and eventually will settle.  The other option is for the dentist to take out the filling and treat the root before filling it up again.

It is best to see the dentist to make sure that an abscess is not forming or has formed.  In this case you will need a course of antibiotics to get rid of any bacterial infection.

It is the 14th today, so I do hope that it has started to settle, if not, keep badgering your mom to take you back to the dentist.

Best wishes.
