Ok, you need to be more specific, can you chew on that tooth or not? Is the pain constant or does anything start the pain? ie, hot , cold, pressure?
Does the pain wake you up at night? do you find yourself clenching over that side?
answer those for me , and I would not put any crown on that tooth until pain is resolved. You would not build a house on shakey grounds... A second opinion is in order.. One month is a long time to be in pain.
Thanks for the reply,
Yes, I constantly have pain which I can bear, one day I ate an apply slice on the left side the pain went to ear, jaw, head and unbearable for 4,5 hours, I used mouthwash, clove to reduce the pain. I don't use that left side to chew or eat at all. I use straw to drink tea.
One day I ate pop corn a handful, the pain went up for 4 hours, if i eat anything sweet also the pain goes up. after that 4 hours even drinking water is also a big challenge, I feel like it is going inside my teeth.
I forgot to include --after filling, the dentist kept the black paper and asked me to bite(as usual) to find the height of the filling. I felt very pumpy and kept saying it is pumpy and he kept grinding the filling. At one point I said, I think I feel pumpy because of the numbness, I think it is enough, what do you suggest. He again grinded one more time and left. During my next visits too he grinded /smoothed the tooth.
I constantly feel pain even while talking ..
thanks for your help.
