Need a Good Dentist

Hey guys.  I'm new.  I live in Bloomfield, NJ.  I need a good dentist that accepts Medicaid Insurance.  I have this pus and blood filled bump in the roof of my mouth that comes and goes after it erupts.  I had four wisdom teeth pulled then I went to the emergency dental and they took x-rays and stated that there was a piece of instrument left in my tooth.  They did a temporary root canal done 2004 and some caps taken off.  Now that tooth that had the temporary root canal is very infected with a large mass growing out of it.  It occasionally bleeds and erupts.  I believe this is poisoning my system because I am very ill.  Someone said that I am probably also swallowing the mercury from my tooth poisoning my blood and systems.

If you know where I can go to get my mouth taken good care of please tell me.  I have a phobia the dentist and my pain tolerance is extremely low.  I only have medicaid insurance and don't wanna go to the previous doctors that hurt me bad.  I would go back to the nice doc who did my temp root canal with not as much pain as I have experienced in the past but it is a Dental School and hard to get into especially now at UMDNJ Hospital in Newark NJ.

Please give me a good referral if anyone knows.

I do not have a great referral in NJ but I can tell you that what you describe is completely unmanageable. I should hope that you have visited a hospital to get antibiotics for the infection that will be cleared up and then you can begin treatment. In any case in my experience the dentist will drain this type of terrible infection before even treating you. I had a bad abscess in my front and I had to go and let them open my tooth up and then drain the tooth and then come back and have them do the actual work. Life is hard and medicaid is not great and the US in general is not kind on the uninsured. It makes me mad. Please don't be hard on me because I have no real answer. I just want you to know that someone is out there thinking of you. Even having this tooth out might be best for you. Even if it means no tooth. What is your age if I can ask that?
