Still having gum pain

Hi everyone.
10 days ago I had three teeth extracted. One was a wisdom tooth, the second was a molar right in front of that tooth and the third was another molar on the opposite side. It took about an hour and a half and they were extremely difficult extractions. The bleeding didn't last very long and that day and the following day I felt pretty good. Since the second day, my gums were the teeth were pulled itch like crazy, they are swollen and are extremely sore and tender. It hurts to eat  , brush or do anything. If I go to touch the gum I only have to slightly tap it  , they are extremely tender. I'm going to go back to my surgeon to have a look. Has this happened to anyone? I've been taking ibuprofen for pain and I'm on an antibiotic also but my gums are killing me.

I jis had an extraction of my upper canine - the kind where they take the whole root put like wIth a CRACK noise uughh - on March 10th after an infection under the rt canal/crown i had. the endo gave me a handful of motrin 600, a Zpac (weakish antibiotic), stuck the already-broken flipper on and said id feel better in a couple days. I honestly was not my self again fot two weeks. And whether it was related or not who knows but i also had a fever and stomach problems the last week. But two wks is how ling it took before the pain wasnt constant and i could sleep more than an hr or two. if i touched above my upper lip on the outside of my face it made me want to jam my finger in the extractes hole and scratch it like my cat does with her ears - that kind of itch/pain. but it was sharp too. i dont know if youll take as long to heal because indont know if you are a smoker which surely slowed my recovery or if yr doc gave you anything decent for the pain (i thought aince i could feel him draining the pus from my sinus cavity that would hurt too but it actually feels better... let me ask you: do u have any treatment plan beyond this? if so, what? also what of anything atr you wearing to cover up the extraction site?
