The tests are correct a majority of the time, take that as a good sign for now. Next time your lesion comes back, go see an oral surgeon so you can find out what it is. Even trained professionals cannot completely diagnose problems just from their appearance, don't try to yourself, thats what pathology labs are for ;)
I did a test & it was negative. Still bit scared because it looks very similar to OHL & i'm thinking maybe it is a false negative.
If it comes up again, I would check in with an oral surgeon or pathologist. First, they can tell you what exactly it is, and second they can remove it in a safer manner. Most lesions can be surgically removed without recurrance.
Otherwise, if you are worried about HIV, get tested. Either you will know for sure you don't have it, or you will know early and can control it...win/win scenario.

there are hundreds of conditions that could mimic Oral hairy Leukoplakia. It is often related to HIV/Aids so thats why I'm worried.
