dental health

is it ok to leave the broken piece of the palatal root that was accidentally push in the maxillary sinus

Usually a root left in will eventually make its way to the surface because theres a natural way everything in ur mouth moves if there's room.  I wld be wary of any type of infection. Further if its in the sinuses u shld see an enter maybe.  Did the dentist xray it?  Has it been there long?  Are u having sinus headaches and pressure?

the extraction was done less than a week ago.no x ray was done and the dentist tell me the broken part of the root was accidentally dislodged into the sinus.he has given me antibiotics and pain relievers and am not feeling any discomfort up to this moment and said that if an infection occur a surgical procedure will be necessary.thanks for the reply Tryin2BClean....
