Gum problem

I dipped for about 5 years and just quit when I kept getting a white sore or patch of skin under a tooth on the gums. The one tooth you can see the root it's receded to the bottom and I keep getting a painfull white patch of skin or bump on the gum below the tooth that has receded to the root....I've been told I might have to get gum graphed there, but my main concern is mouth or gum cancer what do you think?

You should have an Oral Surgeon check the white patch and maybe do a biopsy to make sure it doesn't have any cancerous cells.  The recession on the gum is most likely from your "dipping."  A gingival graft could help and you would see a periodontist for that.

Stay good with quitting the dipping!  It's not a good thing!
Good Luck!
