pus in gum

I just had a 3 part permanent bridge put in my upper right side.  . About a week later the gum between the bridge and an old crown became swollen and painful.  Today I released pus from the swollen gum. I complained of this swelling to my dentist and he said it was because my bite was off and he kept adjusting the bottom teeth and the crowns.  I don't believe it is due to my bite.  What should I do? I pierced the gum and the pus came out. now it is just sore because of all the probing.  I have also been rinsing it with salt water.

This discussion is related to painful gum after a crown.
