whats wrong with my tongue?

my tongue has a white coat of moss like stuff on it.Its been that way for as long as i can remember.on one side of my tongue right side there like a white half circle and as of yesterday theres a place on the right side of my tongue that the white moss like stuff has just come off of for some reason.I had my dentsit check this a few weeks ago and he looked at it and told me its not oral cancer and not to worry about it.since then i was using orajel anticeptic mouth wash it said use it for only 7 days i used it for 2 weeks guess i used it to long.Its almost looks like a layer of skin came off my tonue cause its lower where theres no white moss stuff.I tryed to take it off white my finger tip the moss it doesnt seems to wanna come off.iate bluberrys tonight and te blue berrys stuck to everyplace on my tongue that had the white on it but didnt stick where the skin isnt white.I know my dentist told me its not cancer and not to worry about but im wondering what may be causeing this?i 50mg of zinc a day and for the last 2 years been taking 100 to 200 mg a day of minocycline for ance then went to 100 mg a day for a few months now i just take 100 mg a few times a week of minocycline for my acne.i also take 20 mg of prozac a day.i just started using listerine a few days ago after brushing every night the old syle kind it stings my mouth after i use it.i rinse my mouth with it after brushing.I never brush my tongue or do anything to my tongue at all.would brushing the tongue help?im kinda worried about even though my dentist said its not oral cancer i cant stand the way it looks and he didnt know what it is just said dont worry about it and didnt tell me what to do for it.I took a pic of it this is wat it looks like after yesterday.anyway what would help with it looks gross i know.this?.thanks...............................................................................................................................................................................http://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu303/water09_2009/phone2018.jpg

also I wanted to add since yesterday also i have had a very slight soar Throat on the right side in the back when i sawllow.same side theres  no white on the tongue.its only been like this for one day.but the side of my tongue is what i had the dentist look at a few weeks ago and the place on the center of my tongue wasnt like that then.it doesnt hurt at all and theres no growth of anything on that spot.thanks
