Anxiety attacks anyone got any help ?

I have been getting bad anxiety attacks lately  worrying about not working and spending my savings as result of this due to recession I live in North West  England and jobs seem negligable .
I have also not been sleeping properly and suffering insomnia iwhich is unusual for me .
Could anybody help me as packed in effexor and duloxetine 7 months ago and been on 5htp since?

The withdrawls of packing in anti depressants can mimic depression and some people cannot tolerate HTP I don't want to go back on duloxetine or effexor , I will not take 5HTP today and see how I go I am going the baths later so exercise might help a liitle.

The Yog Pranayam will  help you relax and also help with the anxiety and sleep problems. Do the pranayam with eyes closed. Drink warm water.You will notice benefits in weeks.Let me know how you feel after 9 days and 28 days of pranayam.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after 1 minute.

Bhastrika - Take a long deep breath into the lungs(into chest not tummy) via the nose and then completely breathe out through the nose. Duration upto 5 minutes.

Anulom Vilom –
Close your right nostril with thumb and deep breath-in through left nostril  
then – close left nostril with two fingers and breath-out through right nostril  
then -keeping the left nostril closed  deep breath-in through right nostril
then - close your right nostril with thumb and breath-out through left nostril.
This is one cycle of anulom vilom.
Age over 15 years -Repeat this cycle for 10 to 20  minutes twice a day.
Age under 15 years -Repeat this cycle for 5 to 10  minutes twice a day.
You can do this before breakfast/lunch/dinner or before bedtime or in bed.Remember to take deep long breaths into the lungs.You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed.

Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee.
Duration : 5 to 11  times

Once you are better, continue the pranayam once a day.

u might not realise it but u could be suffering from depression, hence the sleepness nights. i was the same a few years ago after losing my job but i did not realise i was depressed i just thought it was anxiety. i ignored it for a while and i just took xanax. the depression was slowly creeping up on me and then one day it hit me very hard and i felt suacidal. i got lexapro and more xanax of the doctor and i've never looked back. i would now reconise the signs straight away and can stop it in it's tracks before it hits. sometimes ur the last person to notice it.  see if u can do a course or try some new hobby to keep u busy while ur looking for work..u never know u might enjoy it and it will give u some sense of routine instead of being bored not working. hope all goes well
