take very good care of yourself,

It is bad. It's terrible and you have my sympathy, but you are not alone. Your feelings of isolation and pain are real and need to be addressed. Physically hurting yourself is a serious problem and you should recognize that this is not a healthy or productive way to deal with your feelings of depression.
It sounds like you do not have anyone to confide in or share your confusion, and that can be horribly isolating. May I suggest you think about keeping a journal? Writing can help you work out your feelings and it gives you a safe space to express yourself. If your parents don't seem to care, it may be that they do not understand your condition. You can use the journal as a way to open communication, or you can keep it as a private account of your struggle.
Your parents need to be informed and they truly ought to be concerned, especially if you are thinking about harming yourself.
Keep in mind that a lot of kids who cut are often dismissed as "seeking attention," and it may even be true that what you want most is for someone to give you affection and care about you, but any sort of self mutilation is dangerous.
If it helps to hear it from a stranger than I will say what you need to hear:
You are a good person, and you deserve to be loved. No one deserves to suffer in silence or live alone. Things are hard now, but they will be better. You have to have hope that it will get better, even when it feels like it never will.
I am nearly 30 now, but when I was younger I tried to hang myself. I think about all of the wonderful things that have happened in my life since, and I realize I would have missed out on so many beautiful moments if I had succeeded. Everyone goes through feelings of depression and misery at some point in their lives. I hope this time makes you stronger.

What are you asking exactly teddybear? is it bad that you have this feeling? the fact that you have no support? that you cut yourself? If it makes sense that you get yelled at after cutting yourself?

well, the answers are rather easy and between you and I, I suspect you already know most if not all the answers. anyway, let's review them: yes, this feeling of yours is not good. (unless you think it is and you wouldn't be here). yes, it is bad that you have no support. yes, it is bad that you cut yourself. no, it makes no sense that your parents yell at you after you've cut yourself. but chances are, your parents are afraid and do not understand. We all know that fear = aggression and that scared individuals will react aggressively. Unless their yelling is just another proof that they can care less, the yelling is actually and probably after themselves and their impotence in being able to help you. So again teddybear, what is the question? if it is about how to get help, we would need more background context in order to maybe pinpoint specific organizations where you could go.  the first and only thing i can really suggest is to schedule an appointment with one of the social workers available at your school. supposedly all schools offer this service.
