Can we use IR (Infra Red) illumination to identify the age spots?

Dear Madam,

I am really very thankful for your respose. I am working as part of an end to end research on an automatic apparatus for applying the medical cream for treating the age spots.

I would like to get information on the illumination which can detect the age spot with its charactersitcis - such as white light/UV/IR etc.

May I get any input on this regard?
May I know what all are the characteristics you use as the criterai to identify a pigmentation as age spot?

Infrared technology through LASER technology has been used to treat skin conditions including age spots. Age spots however, are diagnosed based on a complete physical examination.

How old are you?

Age spots or liver spots as the name implies present as one ages.Thus,when one is younger the use of sunscreen on the face and other sun exposed parts of the body may be beneficial.
