Anal fissure or herpes

had what seems to be a tiny cut right above the rim of my anus. It didn't hurt at all. It's possible that it's from shaving and I knick it and end up finding it later when it's most often in a healing stage and notice that it's a healing cut. This happened twice. The first time it was accompanied with bleeding because I was wiping to hard and in the shower noticed a shallow cut there. And in a day or two it was gone. Once I discover it, which is usually when I'm checking my anogenital area it usually gone the following day or two. If I weren't checking I could honestly say I wouldn't notice. The second time I noticed this little cut was after sex where my boyfriend was playing with my anus while we had sex. Not sure if I would've noticed if I weren't looking for it. Now I'm thinking this could be recurrent genital herpes in my anus. I never really have anal sex. But it can show up anywhere in the boxer short region. The cut when I look at it with a mirror is a tiny knick, solid white from the flesh kind of showing, never bleeds and never causes any discomfort when passing stools. It's not in my anus but right above it, where it's still anal tissue. I don't think it's related to wiping because I know how that feels and that's more on the rim of my anus and is slightly painful. This isn't. Does this sound like genital herpes of the anus? No genital symptoms.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
An anal fissure is a split in the anal skin and it feels like being cut with glass when you have your bowels open and afterwards. In that case, take warm sitz baths , smear some painkilling gel around the area  and avoid constipation. If the symptoms persist then glyceryl trinitrate ointment,Botox injections and surgery can be tried.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
