Bruises

A few months ago, I got some bruises in my bottom and thighs due to some rough foreplay with my wife. Since then, I have some purple marks in my thighs and a darker skin in the part of the bottom that was hit (I am on my fifties and my skin does not heal as well as before).

Is there anything that I can do to to get my skin back to normal?

Regards

Thank you for your reply.

It feels normal and I hope it is nothing serious. I do not like the way it looks and should prefer to get it back to normal, but I do not know whether that is possible.

I have not consulted with my doctor because it would be embarrassing to explain how I got it... but probably that is what I should do...

Thank you very much for your message.

Best regards

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
The blood under the skin which causes the discoloration of bruising should be totally reabsorbed by the body in three weeks or less.

In your case, as the symptoms are persisting for more than months, so it may be due to formation of hematoma because of blood trapped in tissues. This blood may need to be drained. Also then other possibilities have to be ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
