Bumps in my head

Hi I just noticed 3-4 bumps in the back of my head. I have an avm in my brain and I am taking topamax 12.5 since past August. And since then I been noticing pimples on my face, all over my body and too much on my head. Unluckily every time I go see my doc she said that she can't see any in my head so it was never treated. So I don't know what to do? Anybody ? And now these bumps, I hope they are not related to my avm or a side effect of my medicine. ( I am 40 years old) . So if you have any suggestions please .

hi, i have a brain avm. and for that i take Topamax 12.5 mg every day. i think about two months ago i started feeling this tingling feeling in my right hand fingers and i told my family doc but she said i should see my neurologist. but i couldn't get any appointment with my neuro. i am going to see her next month. but now for the past i guess one week i my arm started hurting between my hand and elbow. and it gets numb too. my right hand hurts too much that in can't even do any house work properly. i just wanted to know that is a side effect of Topamax or is something related to my avm.. sometimes my whole arm is hurting up to my shoulder, but up to elbow is always hurting so i have to take pain killer everyday,  thank you.

Unexplained folliculitis and itching would mean you have to rule out pediculosis.
Cheers.

Thanks, and I did go back to my doctor (NEUROLOGIST), and she said the same thing and told me to take Claritin or Reactine. Because now I am itchy all over my body specially  in my head. My head is very itchy and I still have too many small pimple like bumps and when I itch them I scratch them and they hurts. She said may be I am allergic to one of the medicines she gave me for my migraine ,I did stop taking them but this itch is still there,  So I hope Claritin stuff help. May be you can suggest something for my itchy head, I tried nizoral shampoo , selson blue, but nothing seems to be working.  Thanks ones again

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to folliculitis or heat rash. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
