confused about bumps

Hi. I'm trying to figure out if these bumps are something I should worry about or if they are harmless. I've had them since I was about 13 and I'm 19 now. They are small white bumps that are located on the base of my penis and testicles. They don't itch or hurt at all and have no irritation. I keep looking for what the could be but I keep coming up with multiple results. I am also still a virgin and haven't had any type of sexual activity ( waiting on the right girl). Is it acne, folloculitis, hpv, or something else... Please help. Thanks

Oh and I was wondering if its folliculitis because most of them seem to be at the base of the pubic hairs.

Hello,
From the symptoms Fordyce spots needs to be ruled out. They are small, painless, raised, pale or white spots or bumps 1 to 3 mm in diameter that may appear on the shaft of the penis. The spots are a form of ectopic sebaceous gland, and are not known to be associated with any disease or illness and are of cosmetic concern only. They are non-infectious and a natural occurrence on the body.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Thanks. I looked it up and that's what it appears to be. Is there anyway to get rid of them?

Hello,

Treatment of Fordyce spots includes CO2 laser or electro desiccation, TCA chemical peels(temporary treatment),diathermy or laser vaporization. Please consult a dermatologist and discuss the treatment options with him.
