Can anybody help?

Hi everyone..
About 4 days ago i noticed on my right wrist i had a little scratch. it wasn't itchy just almost felt like it stung almost like if you skin you're hand on the pavement or a carpet burn.. then the day after, a little pimple formed.. I tried to squeeze it but had no luck.. Then Yesterday I woke up and it's about 1cm round white blister .. I tried to pop it again but oh so painful . I'm planning on seeing my family doctor today but I am very curious to know what it could be?
If anybody has ANY ideas please let me know?
Thanks so much

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms the possibilities of boil, bullous staph infection and HSV 1 infection needs to be ruled out. Pain, burning, tingling, or itching occurs at the infection site before the sores of HSV appear. Then clusters of blisters erupt which break down. You need to get some investigations like sample from the sores to identify the virus, culture analysis, Tzanck smear, antigen and antibody studies and blood sampling for antibody studies done to confirm the diagnosis. My sincere advice would be to consult a dermatologist.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
