Chaffing/Dry Skin on Penis

Over the past lets say year I've had sex 3 times and each time right after on the right side of my penis I developed a chafe/like abrasion and it swells up and stings but goes away after a couple of days and then I'm fine until the next time I have had sex. After it is almost completely gone, my skin becomes dry/scaly like and when I put moisturizer on it, it looks normal. In my entire life this has never happened to me until recently. Last time I went to the doctor for a physical, I decided to get tested for every known STD and came back negative. I had also went to the doctor because that was the first time it occurred and I was concerned. He said it was a yeast infection and prescribed some creme and antibiotics. It did go away until the next time I had sex. Would you have any idea what it may be without seeing it? I've been reading other posts and websites and it seems to be penile eczema. I'm afraid of having sex because I know what the outcome will be. How would I prevent this from happening during sex? I am sexually active and prefer to stay that way without it happening again. I would just like to have a normal healthy sex life without worrying about it.
Thank you

I don't have an answer because I'm experiencing the same thing. The problem is though, that I've never experienced this before earlier this year. I've gone 38 years with lots of sex and now all of a sudden, I'm chafing everytime I have sex and even when I masturbate. Can someone please help me (us, if the OP is still having the same problem) out?

You must have sensitive skin down there.  It is quite common and treatable (thank god).  Go buy a penis health creme and use it daily.  This should help repair and rejuvenate your damaged skin.  I have used Man1 Man Oil in the past and it worked for me .  All natural ingredients, no side effects.  Good stuff.

Hello,
I don’t think that it is penile eczema because it occurs only after intercourse. Had it been eczema it would have presented as red, itchy , dry skin throughout the time without any relationship to sexual intercourse. I think that this is occurring due to chaffing. Chafing occurs when the skin becomes irritated by the friction caused by rubbing – either against other skin or against a foreign material. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. Also wear cotton undergarments. Application of mild corticosteroid cream and oral antiinflammatories like ibuprofen/acetaminophen are also helpful. You should also use a water based lubricant like KY jelly during intercourse so that there is minimum friction rub during intercourse.
I hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing. Wam regards.
