Dry, red, itchy and painful skin all over my face! Help!

Alright.  I've looked through a bunch of these posts and have yet to find one that closely matches my problem.  I know I have extremely sensitive skin as it is and it is dry BUT not too dry to where I have to put lotion on 24/7.  In fact I am only starting to put lotion on everyday due to my "problem".

Here we go...I have red, dry, itchy and painful spots all around my face.  It has NEVER been this bad and I am embarrassed to go out in public.  I can't even put on makeup because the makeup will "catch" on these tiny dry spots and clump (not sure if that's a good word for it).  But worse of all no matter what I use it burns and I have almost given up until now.

My lips now are also dry and a bright red like I have lip liner on.  Ive tried lip balm, blistex, petroleum jelly, lotion.....EVERYthing and nothing works! It soaks it up (I guess) but it stays there.  I've had this before but not this bad and I love spicy food which now brings me to tears because it burns.

I wish there was a moisturizer I could use that will make it all go away! I even have red patches as if I'm having an allergic reaction to something but I already take an allergy medicine everyday for that.

PLEASE help!!! I know I don't have any STD's and I have been with my boyfriend for the last year and very faithful (Ive heard people mention that on other posts).  I don't really use a lot of products other then makeup (trying to cover it) and lotion.  I know my eating habits are pour but its better then the majority of the people out there who eat fast food 24/7 (ugh).  I know I need to drink more water but I finish a 2 litter of crystal light water everyday!

I don't have the money to go to the dermatologist either!!! Please help me if you can!!!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
These symptoms can be due to atopic dermatitis or eczema. There are certain other non-pharmacological measures which are equally important in treating atopic dermatitis. These are Lubricating the skin frequently, avoiding harsh soaps and cleansers, preventing scratching or rubbing whenever possible, protecting skin from excessive moisture, irritants, and rough clothing, maintaining a cool, stable temperature and consistent humidity levels, limiting exposure to dust, cigarette smoke, pollens, and animal dander & Recognizing and limiting emotional stress.

If the symptoms are worse then it is best to consult a dermatologist.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
