MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be due to eczema. Apply calamine lotion and take some oral antihistaminic like Benadryl for the itching. If the symptoms persist then please get an evaluation done from a dermatologist and get all these conditions ruled out.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

The dermatitis you're experiencing seems to be mild.  Has it recently shown in during the winter season or is this year-round?  I also noticed you gave birth about a year ago, so maybe your body is deficient of some nutrients?  Regardless, I'd encourage you to take evening primrose oil, a form of linoleic acid that's available as an over-the-counter supplement. Evening primrose oil may benefit dermatitis by improving deficient levels of essential fatty acids. Also, taking omega-3 fatty acids, found in fish oil and flaxseed, have anti-inflammatory properties and may help improve skin (this is a daily supplement I take).  Try to find chamomile creams, which topical chamomile is about as potent as a product containing 0.25 percent hydrocortisone. Chamomile-based creams may help relieve dermatitis.  I hope you find releif soon!!
