Eczema or psoriasis?

The sores on my right foot have been there (nonhealing) for about a year and half and the skin on my left foot (toes) became inflamed and peeling for about 3 weeks now.  Does this look familiar to anyone?

I have no idea what could have triggered this.  It itches sometimes but really not that bad.  I have been on several topical meds and one time my family doctor prescribed Diflucan which really cleared it up fast.  He did say it could be some sort of moisture problem on this foot but did not give it a name.  Would that mean it is fungal?  Yes, I have had problems with edema of the ankles for about ten years now and take 2 different diuretics for it.

Hi.

At this point, we can not tell exactly what could be causing this. Scaling ,inflammation and peeling of the skin of the lower extremities may be due to a contact dermatitis or irritant dermatitis. These forms of dermatitis usually involve the lower extremities and may be due to exposure to unknown irritants or allergens. In your case, would you be able to point out any triggers ?

Also, dishydrotic eczema and  fungal infections are also differentials. These may present with itchiness, redness, excoriations and scaling or peeling of the skin. They may be found in between the digits.

I suggest that you have this thoroughly examined. If this has been present for more than a year, you will be needing topical medications for this.

Do you have any varicosities?
Any swelling or edema of the extremities?
