Egg Yoke for Perorial Dermatits

I have perorial dermatitis. I've been on Orecea since November 09. Slowly but surely it's going away. I have no clue what triggered it to even happen as I've always had clear skin and never worried about it. My question is I have heard that you can use Egg Yoke for acne like as a mask. I was wondering if you can do this for this condition. I can say I'm overly paranoid about my face now as I wash it no less then 3 times a day now. I just want to make sure this crap stays away and any thing or ideas of natural stuff as in moisturizer as Cetaphil I cannot use it burns the crap out of my skin would be appreciated. I will tell you I 100% believe flouride has not been the cause of this as I've used it all my life why would it start to have effect on me now? Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this or not or if anyone has ever been put on this medicine like I have.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Perioral dermatitis like acne is a chronic papulopustular and eczematous facial dermatitis. It mostly effects women and appear around the nose, mouth and eyes. Treatment consists of oral antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. A mild soap or soap substitute, such as Dove should be used for washing. Scrubbing should be avoided.

If the symptoms persist then oral tetracycline should be taken. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I've never used any type of steroid or been prescribed any of that. I've never had an issue with my skin until recently. I use no make up on my face either. I used to use egg yoke as a mask and when I was younger and didn't know if ot would help or harm

Topical steroids are known to cause Peri-oral Dermatitis.... I was diagnosed with it 30+ years ago and was free of it until recently.... when I was prescribed topical steroid by a dermatologist... I should have known better as after having had very clear skin for many years ,,, looks like I have mild acne....
