Fed up living on Forums :(

Hi everyone, i live in scotland and so far have had no help with my symptoms, and spend all my time on these forums hoping for answers can anyone point me in the right direction or maybe have dealt with the same things.

My scalp and eyebrows are the worst, i know its dermtitis of some sort as my dermatologist in our one meeting looked at it and gave me nizoral for it, the problem i have is it will get red/flakey/itchy so i will shower to relieve it once i have had my shower i can feel this sticky glue like liquid seeping out all over my scalp, this liquid with dry and form lumps of flakes on my scalp and then i lose hair in those areas.

This has been going on now for 2 years and it seems to move about, like originally it was in one area the hair fell out and hasnt returned, and now when i look at my scalp the areas that were once inflammed and hair fell out of remain clear and white with no sign of regrowth, and its other areas that are inflammed and hair is falling from and will most likely never regrow like the other places.

I also have something called beir spots which are small white spots under my skin and covers my arms and legs and are circulation problem, and they are untreatable.

A few months back i was diagnosed with a prolactinoma (pituarity tumor) which they belive has gone undiagnosed since i was a teen ( im now 25) and is now under treatment, and i had delayed puberty because of it and im now seeing my first facial hairs coming through.

My Endo has told me it wouldnt have caused the scalp problem or the spots on my arms but has caused some of my other symptoms gynecomstia and weight gain ( which ive lost isnce starting meds).

So what gives ? i really dont know which way to turn im currently living no life at all, cancelling all nights outs with friends havent had any relationship with a girl in 6 years and to top it all off i have been told i suffer from Body Dismorphic Disorder and im going to be getting Cognitive therapy ( My doctor would rather treat my behaviour than treat every individual symptom i have).

I know this therapy is going to work well if i see my hair continiously falling out and my face and scalp covered in red flakes while my arms and legs are covered in white spots and i have breast growth...

anyone got any ideas or things to suggest i would be most grateful.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
One of the possibilities for such kind of symptoms is eczema. It is a form of chronic dermatitis (rash).Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Allergic reaction can occur to strong soaps, Solvents, chemicals, certain foods, food additives, plants, metals, cosmetics, even urine and faeces of some animals (dust mites).
My sincere advice is to get it evaluated from a dermatologist and get evaluated for eczema by getting a biopsy skin done.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

I am very sorry to hear about your health problems. I would def get a second and third opinion from a doctor and also look into seeing a dermatoligist in person!! You def need to see a specialist. Doctors don't know everything and sometimes you even have to get a second opinion from a dermatoligist. If its been a while and the nizoral isn't helping you need something else. Like I said, a dermatoligist is prob the best person you can see. If you have insurance, I would find how who takes your insurance, or get your doctor to refer you to one. Insist you see a dermatologist and if they don't refer you, tell them you will see a different doctor.
