How can i get rid of dead dry skin from my body?

So I had a really bad allergic reaction to some soap a few weeks back. My body broke out and got swollen literally every place on my body from my feet legs back arms even body side of my hands. Now finally the swelling had gone away and the itching and pain but now I'm left with unbelievably dry skin in all the areas I had broke out.now my entire body is shedding skin in the worse way. My skin is rough and tight in some places. My question is what can I use or do to stop the shedding? I have been really depressed I don't like going outside because I feel disgusting and I start my new job on the 30th of this month in a hospital and I really don't want to show up with my skin looking the way it is. Can anybody help me please!!! Also I do have eczema but it hasn't really been an issue until I had that allergic reaction

Did you see a doctor for treatment of the allergic reaction?   How had you treated the reaction after it happened?  You probably will want to make sure the area is cleansed with a very mild cleaner and also apply a hypoallergenic moisturizer.  Give your doctor a call to confirm how to treat the area as well.  They can also prescribe some creams to assist further if needed.
