Help! Random zit- looking bump on the left side of my inner legs, near my vagina?

I don't know if I'm posting this in the right place, but I'm desperate. So today I looked down after wiping and saw a red, large round pimple looking thing right in the area between my leg and my crotch. Its where your underwear would fall. Everywhere I look says herpes, but I'm a virgin and there's only one. I'm freaked out but too scared of a doctor. Help??

Hello,
For boils, Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics and warm compresses. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics and incision and drainage may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

It's not herpes.  It's an ingrown hair or other infected follicle or something.  If it is small, just keep it clean and maybe put tea tree oil on it.  This smells like turpentine, but it kills germs of all kinds.  Try not to mess with it.  If it gets very painful and it's big, you may need to have it drained by a doctor.  Doing it yourself is risky because it can get seriously infected.
