Help!

About 4 months ago, i had unprotected sex with a girl.  The next morning i woke up and my penis was very irritated and had some discoloration and has been that way since.  At certain points it has been dry and flaky but the head of my penis has consistently been discolored and wrinkled, which it was not before.  It has been like this since the sex and the discoloration has slightly changed but has always remained.  Also, when i masturbate, my penis is more sore and irritated afterwards. I have been to both my general doctor and a urologist who both say that they do not see anything because there are no lesions.  I have been tested for all stds and have recently been using hydrocortisone cream, which my urologist recommended, but it has done very little.  I have also tried using monistat incase i had a male yeast infection, but that did nothing as well.  I am running out of ideas and it is becoming increasingly frustrating that nobody seems to have an answer for me.  Any ideas?

THERE ARE NO LESIONS.  Thats the most confusing part.  That is why most doctors i go to see tell me that there is nothing wrong with me.  However the texture of my penis has changed from smooth to dry, irritated and wrinkled.  Does this sound like an allergic reaction or a fungal infection?

Hi,

Nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions.

It would be best to reconsult your doctor about your symptoms if they do not resolve and get a proper clinical examination.

Let us know about what your doctor advises. Post us if you have any other doubts or queries.

Regards.

I don't know if i mentioned this before but there are no lesions of any sort.  The symptoms are that the texture of the head of my penis has changed significantly.  The head is very wrinkled, irritated, and discolored.  It also has been dry.  When i have sex or masturbate, it becomes increasingly more irritated.  More recently, my general doctor advised for me to use lamisal anti-fungal cream.  This has helped clear up the discoloration a little bit, but has not helped the sensitivity or the wrinkled appearance.

Hi,

This could be due to acne/imples/ or infection of the hair follicles called folliculitis or some bacterial infection/ fungal infction or some skin nodules etc.

Nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions.

It would be best to reconsult your doctor about your symptoms if they do not resolve and get a proper clinical examination.

Keep the area clean and wear clothes washed in a few drops of chlorhexidine preferably and dried in the sun.

You could take oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications for the itching.

Let us know about what your doctor advises.

Regards.
