I have a bump on my lower butt.

I have a bump on my lower bottem, i notice it about a month ago and the area of the bump is dark. i found out i had scabies a few weeks ago and i took the treatment. The bump went away, but i can't remember if it was before the treatment, but any way tonight when i was getting out of the shower i notice the bump had came back in the same exact place. Do you thinks its the from the scabies? and how do i know i've gotten rid of them. And if not the scabies then what?

Hello,
From the symptoms another possibility is of pyogenic granuloma. Scabies presents with very itchy lesions and if it is non itchy, then it is less likely it is scabies. Pyogenic granuloma is a benign tumor which presents on the upper trunk and glistening red lesion that bleeds spontaneously or after trauma. I suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

I forgot to tell you that the area where the bump is dark and very soft it does not itch. But it lefted then came back, ande it is kind of to big to be a hair bump, and why would it come directly in the same place. And how do i know my scabies is gone?

Hello,
Scabies is an infestation of the skin with the Sarcoptes scabiei mite. It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. This bump can be due to an ingrown hair, folliculitis, cyst, wart , boil or some benign skin growth also. If it is itchy then scabies or insect bite needs to be evaluated.

I suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
