My husbands Skin, please inform me

please someone I'm very scared right now for my husband.. he has allergies but recently he has got a cold normal cold symptoms. but now he is itching ( which he has done sense he was a little kid ) but today he showed me his back and basically from his back down is cover in i guess what would be a rash but for as long as i known him i've NEVER seen this and im freaking out. It's like big size of skin on his back have puff up like bubble or like he has got blisters and its white but around them its red. He's off to work and we have a one year old and i dont know if this is contagious and he wont go to a doctor without arguments taking place.. please if any doctor on here or anyone on here knows what this is please inform ASAP

Thank you for your responce, It's been about 3 weeks i think?? He is still having the break outs. He's not drinking or really eating vitimin C his sytem is fine now the problem is the welths keep swelling back up IF he does not take an allergry meds everyday his face gets it his neck his butt his legs arms  and hands. I dont believe its Shingles, I have not gotton anything from this. However he is very itchy but its not painful. I have photos I want to share so that maybe it can help to see how it looks. He's VERY STUBORN about seeing a  doctor. I need to know what I can do the things he is trying only helps temporary. Thank ya'll again (( hugs ))

Hi,
There are various causes of itching skin with blisters . They are –Allergic reaction , Contact dermatitis , Bullous pemphigoid ,Herpes , Shingles ,Atopic dermatitis , Duhring disesase , Impetigo ,Porphyria etc .It seems more like Shingles for your husband since he had cold like symptoms also .Please consult a dermatologist for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment . If left untreated , it may lead to complications and it is contagious .Hope this helps you . Take care and regards !
