Having the same problem for years and DR said was seborreic dermatitis, loosing hair a lot , red, swollen (sometimes) and itchy. i can see little pimples under my scalp and forehead but all that is in whole body, specially my neck. when I masage my scalp get so red and itchy.Guess What
It is a parasite deep under the skin, tiny black , when itch u skin get so red and veryvery itchy. if u are having recurrent small red dot witch disapper after a few days those are the bites not always itch. My skin is getting athrofy where the infeccion is bigger, myfingrs knucles swollen, they are in palm hands, feet sole ,EVERYWHERE in the body.

Taking them out with

Pure turpentina
mustard oil
Tea Trea oil
pepermint oil
Castor oil
orange oil
MTG( Mane tail Groom)
Coconut oil

I can see A LOT of them coming out with a gentle massage but they come out anyway and die.
Dont know how much oil, i just mix it all and for the hair turpentina , tea tree and pepermint work well. leave on afew hour or sleep with

I know that this is not lice, scabies, fleas or what ever.I ran my arm under water in the sink in nov 2011 and with a mag could see them.My dr said:I know you are being bit by what. They did blood test and biops. From Harvard is were my doc went to school.,I got it from a hotel in vegas. My friend slept on the sofa.i slept in one of the double beds and another friend slept in the other double bed.I put the foil from the emerg. kit that you travel with on the sofa and heard the pop's like my other friends did also. The friend that sat in the back seat never got the infection since she didn't have to drive. But my friend who slept on the sofa drove my car and me also.I got it from her from the sofa.So yes this can be spread from person to person. It mutates into the parasite. It is a fungi and my doctor see's that and a zooologist can't even figure what bug it is.he has study them for over 30 years. That shampoo i tryed and the pryth cram and pills. They don't work at all.I dont know what this is .I want to know were it came from the jungle or from a lab created? Why or people getting this REAL Infection? But this is a fungi that mutates into a parasite this i know for a fact.No lice shampoo will kill it or lice creams.I am alergic to PARA GONE which can be bought at a health food store.People should ive PAra Gone a try if they have no sulfer allergys. But i read you post and do not agree with lice stuff since i used what you told another. It did not work!

It can be due to head lice or folliculitis scalp. Wash the Clothing, bedding, and towels in hot water and dry them in sun after machine drying them. Topical permethrin or Lindane cream may be needed which are available by prescription only.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
