raised slow growing growths

I am 47 yrs old.  I have skin colored raised soft growths on my hip area.  These continue to spread as they have my whole life.  I have been to several dermatologist many years ago , no one seems to be able to tell me what these are.  With laser technology do you think these growths could be removed , or will they just grow back.  I have always wanted to know what these things are.

Thank you for your feedback. No these are not warts or skin tags, they vary in size much like keloids.  I am  white, 105 lbs and have no health issues.  I saw a plastic surgeon years ago he said these are very rare, could not be removed by laser as the scar would be worst than the lumps......I dont think much could be worst than the lumps and that was in 1985. No one else in my family has these.  They are like flat globs of skin.  A dermatologist biopsied one, he said he wasnt sure what it was, it grew back where he took it off.

Hi,
Skin colored growths could be skin tags or warts. Skin tags are small benign tumors that form primarily in areas where the skin forms creases.
Why and how skin tags form is not entirely known, but they are seen in older people. overweight , pregnant and diabetis individuals.

Skin tags are harmless and removal is only for cosmetic reasons, can be done by Electro-cautery or Cryosurgery i.e freezing it.

Warts are caused by a viral infection, can last for years and can recur. They can be removed by Cryosurgery or Laser technique.

The wart often regrows after the skin has healed. THere are OTC agents available like salicylic acid and siver nitrate solutions but these are messy and will require 2-3 months to be effective.
