Please help

Hi,I need some advice. Almost a two and a half months ago I got this rash on the top of the scrotum and the underlying part of the shaft of my penis. At first it was only a slight itch. My girlfriend and I have been together for two years and this never happened before. So I just thought allergy or something used some creme, got better. Well we have sex one day ok well on a regular basis and after several times it returns again so we both go to the doc and are checked out nothing was found. But my little problem is still here. but only now there is a small red mark that raises when we have sex later my penis is flaky in this area and has dead skin.  I remove it, looks better underneath. the next day its back. Itches like crazy. Someone please help its driving me crazy.

Thanks in Advance.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It can be either fungal infection or nummular dermatitis. Application of local antifungal cream(terbinafine, clotrimazole, econazole, ketoconazole, miconazole) and oral antifungal drugs are the mainstay of treatment. Most cases of  fungal infections respond to over-the-counter products, which contain any of several basic ingredients: miconazole, tolnaftate, terbinafine, ketaconazole and clotrimazole. You can consult a pharmacist and get any cream or lotion containing these ingredients. Some of them are Lamisil, Monistat derm, Mycelex, and Nizoral. If the symptoms persist then please consult a dermatologist.

I hope that helps. Take care and please do keep us posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
