Possible causes for crimson-outbreak on face & neck

Last week an acquaintance whom I see in the pool at the gym commented on the redness on my neck and under my jaw. I have had this before & didn't think much of it since it usually goes away. Five days later, it is not getting any better. Over a week ago, I also noticed redness with bumps around the corners of my mouth and to the right & left of my upper-chin, then this redness continues on down my neck and up the sides of my jawline. I am baffled as to what could cause this. I have had very nice skin all my life. I am 70 now. I take a lot of vitamins and herbal supplements: vegan D3 (2500 IUs); CoQ10 (100 mg); Red Yeast Rice (1200 mg, which also has 210 mg of milk thistle and 60 mg of CoQ10); Biotin (10,000 mcg's); and an eye vitamin with bilberry, ginkgo, lutein, and selenium. I was taking a multiple also vegan capsules, but I ran out. I showed it to a pharmacist at Walgreens and she recommended benedryl. Since I didn't want to get drowsy, I chose the topical cream. It seems to help, but then once I wash it off in the morning, the redness is back and gets worse by mid-afternoon. I am thinking of throwing away all my various face creams. I have been using Nature's Gate products, but am doubtful it could be from this since I've been using them for over 2 months and never had a reaction until recently. What could it be? Something I am eating? The vitamins & herbs? This is a dilemma to try to figure out!
