Rash on and around the penis

I've went through the forums a bit from google and saw similar topics to mine but I'm still not sure what to do.

I had sex with a girl about 2 weeks ago.  Used a condom for some of the sex and other times I didn't.

I came home the next day and noticed there were spots around my genital area.  I panicked a little and searched online and came to the conclusion that it was just rough sex and the skin got a little irritated.

Over the next few days my skin started to itch all around in the upper thigh area and in the thigh area there were maybe 2 or 3 spots where there was almost like a pimple.  Each one would I would notice because it would itch and I would then realize there was a small bump, which I could pop and a very tiny small amount of white puss would come out just like popping a zit on the face or something.

These spots of little pimples I'm actually starting to find all over my body now.  I have felt about 3 on my chest and stomach, and 1 on the back of my calf.  They pretty much just itch and bother me maybe once a day and then I notice them and will pop them.  They are just like a very tiny pimple.

The major problem here though, is that a few days after the sex the skin on my penis started to get dry.  Mostly on the underside of my penis.  I didn't think much of it though, and went on with it for a few days until it started to crack and get worse, and eventually the skin began to hurt so I tried applying some lotion.  That didn't help.

About 3 days ago I started putting on hydrocortizone cream and the first day after that it almost seemed all better.  Then the next day it went back to basically the same thing.  I've been putting the cream on daily for the last 3 days and it does not seem to help, but it has not gotten worse so far.

The skin itches very much and scratching it feels amazing, but also aggravates it.  I don't know what to do.  At first I thought I had fuccoltious or however it's spelled, because from what I can tell it doesn't look like herpes.  But then I don't think the symptoms of that include dry, red, itchy penis.

Any ideas?

i've been putting the cortizone on usually twice a day since i made this post and it's not really getting any better.

it's staying in the same spots for the most part and some days are better than others where it seems like it's going to be better but then the next day there will be a crack in another spot and it will be sore again.

should i keep with the cortizone or try another product?

Thanks for the reply.

I have fought eczema on two small spots on my arms and eye lids and it's very annoying.

I will keep up with the hydrocortizone for a few days and see how it goes.  You say wash with water and no products do you mean do not use body wash or soap?

Hello,
Although it is difficult confirming a diagnosis without examination but it sounds like eczema. Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). These are available by prescription.

Also use good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin.If still the symptoms do not improve then please get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist.

I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
