Hello,

I have a rash on my arms and i am not sure what it is.
At first it wasn't irritatting me but then it spread and is now on my arms and chest and is very itchy. Its been here for a while and its not fading. I first notcied this about a month ago and it was on my left arm nows it spread all over my other arm and chest. I talkd to my docter and he said he wasnt sure what it was. So can someone please help me find out what this is?
Thanks.

Hi,
I'm not an expert but I do have eczema. It sounds like eczema to me.  Can you describe the characteristics of your rash?  Have you tried putting anything on it?  Try Cetephil lotion, it should help keep moisturizing your skin.  If not, an OTC cortisol cream might help the inflammation as well.  Hope it helps.

Hi,

From your post, it is unclear what as to what are the characteristics of your rash.

Please give a description of the type of lesion, color, depth, associated features, timeline of development and association with other symptoms/signs of the lesion.

I ask this because there may be many causes of rash on the trunk and to shortlist some we need to get a good history and examination.

Best regards
