Recover from the sun

Hi,

I had a bad problem with very low calcium and vitamin D (I wasn't absorbing Vitamin D), so I decided to move to South Florida to try to break the dependence on voluminous supplements. (Fortunately, Vitamin D and Calcium aren't a problem now).

However, I now suffer from thinning skin (I'm 35), although it isn't just thinning skin since blood and tissue are somewhat evident over my body - its sort of see through.

When I arrived in South Florida I immediately had problems in the sun (after several minutes), including swelling, burning sensations - it feels as acid - and immobility. Also, the blood becomes very apparent.

At this point, if I'm out a few minutes, my feet (exposed) are as tomatoes and my hands are affected also, and I'm very, very irritable - it feels as though a stroke is approaching.

My main question is that I'd like to know how to recover some of my body's layers (my feet were as snow before coming to South Florida, for example, and if I tanned on a trip it would go away - as it did after I left South Florida for a while . Now, I just sort of stay this way unless I avoid daytime activities). Note: I'm also having problems now with low Vitamin B12/anemia and wash cloths having a red coloring after I've been outside in the daytime (b12 is being treated).

I'd like to know if treatment and/or foods and vitamins are available.

Help! and thank you

Sincerely,

J

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I'm doing okay (aside from B12 supplements) aside from the thinning skin matter. The change of weather improved other matters; however, caused new ones.

In particular, I'd like feedback from a dermatologist, if possible, about blood/tissue exposure due to prolonged exposure to sun (high UV?).

I don't find any thing similar online, and I'm reluctant to contact a dermatologist because of it. (I've read of similar "tomato" issues, but I think it was exposure to light, although I'm not sure).

Sincerely,

Jens
