Hello all!
I have had the recurring rash on my hands for a few years now. It doesn't show up often, maybe around 5 times since I've first noticed it, but it's started to become more severe so I'm looking for answers. The rash manifests as red bumps that start out small but get larger the more they are touched and scratched. They itch and sometimes hurt when pressure is put on them.
What I find particularly interesting is that I've noticed that these bumps tend to show up in the exact same locations that I saw them in past outbreaks. For instance I always have a cluster that tends to favor my left pointer finger, as well as one that shows up on my left ring finger, where my pencil sits when I write. I'm not sure if this is important or if it's just a coincidence, but perhaps it can shed light on the nature of the rash.
What's concerning me with this outbreak is that the bumps are starting to "spread" and show up on other parts on my body. Now I have a prominent patch of these bumps on my elbows, and I've noticed a couple of smaller bumps on my knees as well. If anyone has any idea what this could be please let me know!!!
I haven't been using any new cosmetic products or fabrics, so I don't believe it to be contact dermatitis or anything of that sort.
Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this
