Red Itchy Spots

I've been getting what I though were some kind of bug bites on my body for the last couple months. They are very similar to mosquito bites in the way that they feel when they itch, only these spots are slightly smaller and the itch doesn't seem to be reoccurring like the itch of a mosquito bite. I usually only have two or three spots at a time, they itch a day, visually last for 3 or 4 more then fade. I've gotten them on my abdomen, breasts, back the of the thigh and both the arm and forearm.  I wasn't concerned at first because they were so sporadic and faded quickly, but they keep returning and it's getting more concerning.  Any ideas on what this problem could be. A little history: 21, F, 130lbs, 5' 6", college student, sexually active (partner has no symptoms), swollen lymph nodes (cervical and mesentary) determined not to be early lymphoma.

Lyme and Gonococcal don't make much sense to me, I haven't had a tick bite in several years and I have regular gynecological visits that test for such infections with each new partner I have. EBV though...I had mono 3 years ago, badly too.  But, when they were checking for lymphoma they tested my Ig antibodies and they came back fine... if the spots continue to persist or worse, I will visit the doctor.  I've just been going to the doctor so much recently, I broke my nose doing martial arts, plus the lymphoma scare. I was hoping you would said dust mites or bedbugs or something. ;-)

Hi,
I think your symptoms of rash allover your body with enlarged nodes suggests that you might have infectious pathology like EBV infection or Lyme disease or Disseminated Gonococcal infection.
I think you should be consulting Infectious disease specialist as early as possible, to know the cause and decide regarding further management.
Keep me posted.
Bye.
