Red marks on head of penis and sore foreskin

Hi, i've suffered from eczema for as long as i can remember, i now have what looks like eczema on the head of my penis and also have sore foreskin (i'm uncircumsized), I've only had this for the past 2 days and have not had sex in the past month as well as being with the same partner for the past year and a half so cant see it being an STD however cant help but have idiotic thoughts about touching something in a pub bathroom and inadvertantly touching my penis or something equally implausable like!

I've been putting Doublebase on which I put on my eczema to moisturise my skin as I dont want to put my Fucibet cream on fearing its too strong for such a delicate area.

Any advice would be great as I loath going to the docs given that my local sugery is quite inept and will either just push drugs on you or totally ignore what you say to them!

Thanks in advance

Iain

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Without examination, confirmation of a diagnosis is tough but it can contact dermatitis, eczema, rash due to friction rub with clothes, dermatitis (atopic, contact, allergic),excessive sweating causing sweat dermatitis or balanitis(due to an underlying infection (bacterial and fungal as well as other organisms).

Wash the areas several times with fresh water. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.

For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort). Also good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin.

If still the symptoms do not improve then pls get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist.
I hope that helps. Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.
