Hello,
Please don’t exfoliate as it may cause the depletion of the top layer and expose the lower layers of skin. This may delay healing. You can however apply the Promiseb cream. If the symptoms persist then steroids may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.
I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
Hi,
Thanks for your input. I have definitely seen improvement with the Promiseb cream. Also, I do have a humidifier in my room which has helped as well. I just have one more question... I'm wondering if exfoliating will help me at all. I still have some scales and redness on my cheeks and chin... so I've been thinking that maybe exfoliating will help get rid of some of the dead skin and help the medicine soak into my skin. Even if it does burn a little the first time I'd be willing to try... what do you think?
Kind regards...
Hello,
Promiseb cream that you are using is very effective for seborrheic dermatitis. Apart from the promise cream, you can use a gentle non perfumed, hypoallergenic moisturizer and steroid creams. Using humidifiers in the house also helps. I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or in case you have any additional doubts.
