Skin Fungus worries

I have been diagnose with a skin fungus infection (dermamytocosis) and the dermatologist has prescribed Lamisil (terbinafine hydrochloride) very strong tablets with quite a few side effects. I would like to try natural alternatives like apple cider vinegar but could the infection spread out or perhaps can resolved by itself over time.
Will I be prone to get fungus infections in the future?

Thanks you so much for your answer, very helpful.  I started treating the fungus with apple cider vinegar and tea tree oil two weeks ago, and has slowly started to fade.  I have been told that I will have to treat it for 6 weeks, so we will see the results then.  Unfortunately my doctor insists that I must take the medication but before that I want to try natural alternatives.  I will let you know how I am getting on.

Hello and hope you are doing well.
Oral medications are prescribed in fungal infections if the infection is severe or it may spread and lead to complications. The infection needs to be treated and I am doubtful if it will resolve on its own. I will advise you to speak to your doctor and discuss the side effects of Lamisil and if there are any precautions to minimize them. That might be helpful. Do keep me posted.
