Small Bumps apearing and disapearing on finger

Hi,
I keep getting tiny little bumps on my finger. They randomly appear and then disappear a couple days later. I have not noticed any pattern or that I do anything specific to trigger them. It is usually my 2 index fingers around the knuckle area. Tiny little red or white bumps that don't itch. I wouldn't say they hurt either really I'm more aware they are there.
Thanks, I hope someone can help.

Thanks for that. They aren't itchy and don't really hurt much. I'm just aware they are there. I have a few now that are red and only on my index fingers. It's a bit hard to get them checked by a dermatologist as they appear randomly one day for a couple of days and then go so I can't get an appointment when they are there as it takes a while to get in.

Hello,

If the blister is painful and itchy and scabs over then the possibility of herpetic whitlow caused by HSV ( herpes virus) needs to be ruled out. If it is itchy and appearing as small itchy bumps that can be popped then the possibility of pompholyx needs to be ruled out. Pompholyx is also called dyshidrotic eczema. It is characterized by a sudden onset of many deep-seated pruritic, clear vesicles which itch and then peel off. As a result the skin may also fissure.

I suggest you to get it seen from a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
