is this just an automatic response? did you even read my question?
i have an unpigmented ALBINO circle on my back. within that circle is a small, symmetrical mole.
have you ever heard of this?
HI,
Normal moles are usually symmetrical, with smooth edges and usually have uniform color all through out. A mole that is more than one hue is suspicious and needs to be evaluated by a doctor. Normal spots are usually one color. This can include lightening or darkening of the mole. Other characteristics that needs to be checked out include diameter and elevation. If it is larger than a pencil eraser (6mm), it needs to be examined by a doctor. These are the ABCDEs of detecting skin cancer. It is important that this mole is evaluated if it changes color. People who are more at risk for skin cancer
are those with with freckles and have fair skin tones, burn easily and people with light colored eyes, like green and blue eyes. Moreso, if there is a family history of skin cancer or melanoma.
Choose a sunscreen that is at least SPF 15 or higher. Sunscreen should be worn daily and avoid direct exposure to midday sun. Try to cover areas of the skin that will be exposed to the sun such as wide brim hats or sunglasses.
Take care and regards.
