Everything you described is how my situation is right now. Whiteheads red bumps in area my only thing is mine are itching not uncontrollably but slightly itching is this different than what you were talking about? What did your doctor say
I have noticed the same condition, i am male, 26yo, I have recently been having sexual relations with a girl I have known for years, so far we have "engaged" twice, two different nights, our primary sexual interaction had been her riding on top of me, very, very aggressive(i stress "aggressive" because i feel this may have contributed to the irritation).
The next day I was sore in the groin area, I know the soreness is due to the aggressive impacting of our genital areas.
Well ...we get together again, same routine, but the riding is more aggressive this time around, and this time I notice that my ground area is becoming "raw" due to the aggressive rubbing and friction, and of course I'm very much sore and inflamed, but i also notice the white heads this time.....
my first question is if this is likely due to this aggressive friction.
My second and most important question is this;
Can Hepatitis C be passed via these white heads?
I ask because after a week of us seeing each other, we come across her ex boyfriend and they get into an argument and I over hear her call him a "dirty HEP C mother ******" and I fear she may be infected by this and had failed to inform me.....please, although I plan on visiting a doctor immediately I would still appreciate some advice. Thank you, also to note, we had been using condoms but lost one during sex, and may have continued for an hour or more before realizing, I have not ejaculated with her in any of our encounters, though I know males DO secrete thoughout intercourse
Did you ever find out what this was? I came across about the same thing you were asking about except I didn't get it after having sex. the last time I had sex was about a month and a half before i noticed the problem you have. If you can get back to me on whatever it was that you found out I would appreciate it.
Greg
Thanks again for your quick replies. I have one more question; Should i wait to have sex until i know for sure what exactly it is?
Bobby
Hello,
To all the three questions, the answer is no.Pls don’t try to pop them as it will lead to introduction of infection and aggravation of the condition. If the bumps are due to folliculitis then they are non contagious and also pls don’t try to pick the bumps or the hair.Application of warm compresses and topical antiseptics is the mainstay of treatment.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.Kind regards.
Thank you very much for your input. I will be setting up an appointment with my doctor tomorrow to have him take a look. A few more questions:
1. Should i pop the white heads? Or leave them alone?
2. Can this be spread to my sexual partner?
3. Is it harmful to pull the hair out of the follicle that is affected?
Thanks,
Bobby
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be folliculitis. Folliculitis is the inflammation of one or more hair follicles. The condition may occur anywhere on the skin.
Folliculitis starts when hair follicles are damaged by friction from clothing or blockage of the follicle. In most cases of folliculitis, the damaged follicles are then infected with the bacteria Staphylococcus (staph).
Pls keep the area clean and apply some warm compresses. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove.Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed.Pls consult a dermatologist in that case. Also other possibilities like rash due to friction rub, sweat dermatitis, contact dermatitis etc have to be ruled out.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted if you have any additional queries.
